A couple of years ago a consultant with the online bingo site Bingohouse conducted a survey across various online bingo sites. He asked the players, mostly women at that time, why they liked online bingo. Of course, some of the answers were what you might expect – the potential for winning cash, the fun of the game and making friends in the chat rooms. However, there were also a good number of odd, unusual and just plain bizarre reasons given and I’m going to share some of those with you tonight:
You told that creepy guy from your office building that you are busy tonight, and you are!
No one will hear you curse when you miss a critical number.
You do not need to take a shower.
You can throw in a load of laundry in between games.
You don’t have to wear shoes.
You can polish your nails while you play.
Your cat can sleep in your lap the whole time.
You don’t have to shave or comb your hair.
You can play 24/7.
You can use the silliest of lucky charms without embarrassment playing online Bingo.
You don’t have to spend money on daubers.
You can play while thoroughly intoxicated and no one will know.
You can talk on the phone the entire time if you like.
You can eat ice cream right from the container while you play.
You could fold laundry while numbers are being called.
One less night of figuring out “what to wear”.
And my personal favorite – You can play naked!
