This story is something that really caught my eye and I actually still can’t believe that it is real. Online Bingo Club are actually looking to offer a couple £5,000 if they can sponsor their wedding. Yes you read that correctly, an online bingo website will give one lucky couple £5,000 if they can be the sponsors of their wedding. It’s almost sounds like a complete joke but it is in fact a true story.
The couple will get to spend £5,000 on anything they want but in return for this the bride’s dress has to have the online bingo websites logo placed on it. You should see the picture of the logo, it is really bright and definitely catches the eye. The good thing though is that the logo is only attached via Velcro and the bride can remove it for personal photographs.
The wedding invitations and the table settings and menus also have to have the online bingo logo on them too. According to a spokesperson from Online Bingo Club the average British wedding now costs over £11,000 and this in turn means that a lot of couple can’t afford to have their perfect day. What the Online Bingo Club is hoping to do is to give the luck bride a wedding day that she has always dreamed of and all she has to do is feature their online bingo logo on her dress. The spokesperson went on to say that their logo is really bright and that it will stand out well against the plain white wedding dress.
This is one of the weirdest online bingo promotions I have ever come across. Online bingo and weddings just don’t go and I wouldn’t care how much they were offering me I wouldn’t let them ruin my day. The winner will have to take part in promotional photographs and stuff and this is not part of any wedding day. A wedding is a personal and special occasion and I personally think that this online bingo website has really overstepped the mark. What will they do next; will they ask to sponsor a funeral?
